Train With Torie
Torie Alexandra is a personal fitness trainer based at the BUC Fitness Club in Cape Town, bringing a youthful, fun and energetic vibe to the usual gym sessions we all love to hate. Torie uses her unique training methods to help you reach your goals, whether you are looking for increased strength, a toned bod or to just lead a healthier lifestyle.
This tiny toned Texan beauty with abs of steal has made quite an impact on this sleepy town in such a short space of time. Having trained family and friends for a few years gaining valuable experience, she’s finally made personal training a full time career.
“My own personal struggle with weight gain inspired me to start training. I eventually made the conscious decision to change my life. I began weight training on my own and after losing the weight and changing the shape of my body, simply fell in love with everything to do with health and fitness. Helping give someone the gift of self-love and happiness is the best feeling in the world, ” says Torie.
Our class was powerful, explosive and incorporated a combination of machines and free weights to target all muscle groups giving us a full body workout that left us sweaty and satisfied! We made Torie aware that we both were suffering with lower back issues at the time and she was extremely accommodating and made sure we put no extra pressure on those areas. The BUC Fitness Club is not too shabby either, with new high-tech equipment and mountain views (distracting you from the pain) it’s the perfect spot to get your sweat on!
Being extremely passionate about the fitness industry, Torie decided to start her own blog, sharing health tips, workouts and healthy recipes to get you motivated to kick start your health journey.
