Snack On This!
Good Snacks is a monthly subscription box containing healthy goodies for just R450 per month. Good Snacks is all about smart snacking and helping you make healthy choices, so every month they surprise you with a custom box of healthy snacks delivered straight to your door.
We found this service super convenient and helpful in keeping us motivated to eat healthy whilst staying conscious of what we put in our bodies, despite draining deadlines and chaotic calendars (*sigh*). Both having jobs that require us to either be on the go or stuck behind a computer all day, a service like Good Snacks is super handy!
We were so impressed with the great service and snack offering, that we signed up to receive a box every month. The Good Snacks team source nutritious and more importantly tasty snacks, so that you don’t have to mission to the shops every time you get a craving. No more impulsive purchasing of Flings and chocolate flavoured Steristumpies to satisfy the hunger pains – this can wait until the weekend!
Our favourite snacks include Moonbean Macaroons, packs of mixed nuts, Primal Pantry’s paleo bars, ButtaNutt squeeze packs, dried mango and dark chocolate coated goji berries… Hmmm!
How it works:
- Sign up – create your profile, select your dietary preferences and make payment through their secure portal.
- Select the treats that tickle your taste buds – browse the snacks and select the snacks that you like and which ones you would rather bin.
- GoodSnacks personalised packaging– their team will pack your box with healthy snacks according to your dietary preferences and what snacks you like the most so that they can surprise you with a pack full of goodies unique to you.
- Delivery – you can receive your box hand delivered each month, either to your home or office address.
There are no contracts and you are free to cancel anytime! The best part about this service is that you can select the snacks you love and highlight the ones you dislike (*cough, cough*… kale chips!), to ensure they don’t include them in a future snack box. The boxes also serve as a great intro to most of the healthy snacks on offer locally so you don’t have to go out and purchase expensive health products without knowing what they taste like.
