Berry Breakfast Bowl

Move over rolled oats and chia puddings, smoothie bowls are officially the world’s new breakfast craze and we’re loving it! So grab a bowl and a very big spoon and get munching. Who’ll be happy to know that blackberries have one of the highest antioxidant levels found in fruits – so not only does this breakfast bowl taste good, it does wonders for your youthful complexion – winning!


Blackberry & coconut smoothie bowl:


1 cup blackberries
1 ripe banana
¼ cup coconut flakes, unsweetened
1 cup coconut milk or other milk/yogurt
2 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp raw pumpkin seeds
½ cup fresh spinach



Add spinach, banana and milk/yogurt to your blender and process until creamy. Add blackberries (setting aside a few for garnish) and pulse two to three times.

Distribute the smoothie evenly in the serving bowls. Garnish with fresh blackberries, top with chia and pumpkin seeds and sprinkle with coconut flakes. Serve right away.
